AUDITIONS
For a musical, the auditions will be divided into 3 parts: vocal, dance and script reading.
VOCAL AUDITION
Be prepared to sing 16 to 32 bars (30 to 60 seconds) of a song in a similar genre. Bring sheet music for the piano accompanist or a device to play an instrumental track. A capella is not recommended. If you do not know your vocal range, the music director will help you fill out that portion of the audition sheet. Click on "Show Info" below to find out about the characters and vocal range requirements.
DANCE AUDITION
Wear comfortable shoes to learn a short dance sequence.
SCRIPT READING
You will be asked to read from the script. If there is a particular role you would like to read for please let the director know during the audition. Click on the "Auditions Sides" tab below to see the chosen sections of the script for the audition.
CONFLICTS
Please come prepared to list any schedule conflicts with rehearsals. We will try our best to schedule around conflicts. Rehearsals are on weekends until closer to opening night.
